Phonetics.
The study of sound in speech.
Phonology.
The study of the patter of speech sounds used in a particular language.
Vocal tract.
It's the cavity in human beings where the sound source is filtered.

Lip.
One of the two edges that from the top and the button parts of your mouth.
Teeth.
These are the white hard objects inside your mouth that you use to chew and bite food.

Alveolar ridge.
It’s one of the ridges that is located in the roof of the mouth between the upper teeth and the hard palate. This is also known as gum or teeth ridge.

Hard palate.
It's an horizontal buny plate of the skull, located in the roof of the mouth.

Soft palate.
It's the soft tissue constituting the back of the roof of the mouth, known also as the velum.

Tongue.
This is a really important articulator that can be moved into many places and shapes.

Epiglothis.
It's a flap that is made of an elastic cartilage tissue covered with a membrene.

Pharynx.
It's a tube and heir function is to filter, warm, and moisten air and conduct it into the lungs.

Nasal and oral cavity.
The nasal cavity space filled air above and behind the nose into the middle of the face and the oral cavity is a space bordered in the front and to the sides.

Intonation, stress and accent.
Intonation is the use of the pitch of the voice to convey meaning. The stress is the strength of a syllable and the accent is how people pronounce words and different cultures and backgrounds.

Phoneme and grapheme.
The phoneme is the basic unit of language in phonology and the grapheme is how the speech sounds are written for reading.
